Rhonda Scott is a certified family nurse practitioner, here at Blue Ridge Neuroscience Center, in Kingsport Tennessee. She was born and raised in upper East Tennessee. In 2006 she graduated with her Associate of science in nursing, from Walter State Community College. She worked at Holston Valley Community Hospital, in the ICU step-down and in the surgical ICU for five years. In 2009, Rhonda was awarded the Wellmont critical care nurse of the year award. She graduated in 2011, from King University with her Bachelor of Science in nursing and began working in the ICU, at James H. Quillen, VA Medical Center, serving the Veteran population. Rhonda obtained her Master of Science in nursing, from King University in 2018, and joined Blue Ridge Neuroscience Center as a professional provider. Her professional passion is education, where she enjoys teaching patients about their diagnosis, medications, and treatment options. She prides herself by living the “Golden Rule” treating everyone like family members. Rhonda has been married for 29 years and has three grown children and one son-in-law.
